Yes peoples!
So the first ‘Green Party’ took place last Wednesday… and it went OFF!!!
It couldn’t have gone much better… in fact apart from the soundman not doing his job too well and then doing the B just as skream started his set it went pretty much perfectly!
Fiddy & Collins warmed everyone up with their selection of heaters, Cores followed and butted it up! followed by more riddims from the Fiddy & Collins selection / book of cd-r’s ;p.
Next up was Rinse with Magic on the decks and Styles on stage with him. The response says it all really, he killed it!
After Rinse DJ IQ took the crowd through everyones favourite Hip-Hop jams and got them ready for our set.
It was the first 45 minute set I’ve done and the first show with the new team.
DJ IQ, Shereen, Cores and myself.
We had a great response! Shereen killed it, Cores was on point as ever and IQ more than did his ting!
I was really happy with the crowd reaction – everyone was having a good time and the new music felt really good. The new set feels right to… it’s definitely a journey!
As you’ll see from the pics I definitely worked for it and sweated a good 1/2 stone in bodyweight!
Job done, time to get drunk. Shortee Blitz and Skream saw us through the rest of the night, then I ended up in Hackney Wick at Mickey’s drinking Wray & Nephews from the bottle.
What a fucking great evening.
I really wanna thank everyone who came down for making it what it was, a most enjoyable hiphop night in east London without even a hint of trouble. Thank you!
I’m already planning the next one for September

Lady in pink. Almost red, but not quite. Cute never-the-less, and clearly Rufus’s point of interest as opposed to the muppet on stage singing.

Ello people!
Friday I went down to Hammersmith to see The Game.
I was surprised to see the Apollo less than half full, I also missed J2K which was annoying…
The Game’s show didn’t feel like much of one. In fact he spent most of it dissing other people!!?? The first 8 minutes contained only Jay Z disses… the people there screaming ‘Fuck Jay-Z’ would have been yelling ‘Fuck The Game’ if Jay asked the same of them, only I’m sure he has better things to do with his time when on stage.
Throughout the show stabs were taken at Jay, Fifty and Lloyd Banks. Didn’t game go on tape saying he was done with that beef recently??
Also confusing was the G-Unot chants followed by him spitting Fif’s verse on ‘How We Do’ – then chanting G-Unot again.
The die hard fans seemed to be enjoying it. Especially funny was when everyone in red was asked to get on stage… IQ pointed out to me a guy in Orange. Wow.
Also funny was me reading my twitter on my blackberry on the way there and seeing Akira The Don’s post about accidently coming in the correct swagger for the concert; at which point I clocked I was in a red checkered shirt and had airforce with red accents on. woops.
The after party wasn’t much of one but it was good to see a few people I hadn’t seen in a while…
Saturday I woke up after not much sleep and decided to go boxing anyway. No pain no gain an all that.
After that I had two lift’s let me down so had to get the train to Mistajam’s wedding reception. I don’t think I’ve ever got from my place in East to Kings Cross so quickly. Parked my bike and ran to Euston station. Got my ticket and sprinted to the platform only to see the train leaving… pissed!
I didn’t think I was going to end up getting there but got a call from Anne-Marie from New Era who had also missed the train so we got on the next train to Milton Keynes and eventually arrived at the wedding reception, but not before walking into someone else’s wedding reception by mistake. Wedding Crashers ‘R” Us.
Jam and Claire both looked great and the reception was wicked!
Left to late for the last train but luckily Devs and Twin saved the day and gave us a lift back.
Picked my bike up, crashed on the way home. Came away unscathed but my bike doesn’t sound to healthy…
Had to ride it home in second gear which wasn’t fun, at all.
Today all I’ve done is washing. Load after blemmin’ load!
I am now going to relax with a fine strain of herb and watch some House M. D. until I doze off.
Got an early start tomorrow!
Blessings,
Green

Boxing is a lot.
I started today and already have some idea what I’m gonna feel like tomorrow.
I’ve got a long way to go before I’m back in shape but I can see boxing getting me there a little bit quicker….

The Twang @ Electric Ballrooms in Camden.
I wandered down with Akos… We stopped off at Bar Ganza to get some tapas and drinks prior to the gig. Half way through our second beverage… mid conversation we were nearly soaked when the barman opened a bottle of champagne only for the cork to pop out a bit unexpectedly. Luckily our cat like reflexes saved us from being drenched.
It was a good start to a great evening.
They fucking killed it! The crowd were bang on it and the lads absolutely killed it. Differently. It was fucking crazy!
The new material is sick… I’m not completely familiar with their old stuff but was rocking out to the stuff i didn’t know just as much!
Haven’t been to a show like that in ages. This and The Prodigy gig earlier in the year are definitely the two highlights of my year so far.
Got on my train home only to be joined by Elvis! The King isn’t dead! He’s busking on the London Underground!!
Wicked night. Fucking wicked night.

washed my baggy tee and now it’s looking like a tank top
you know why i couldn’t find my damn socks!”

Entourage is back for its sixth season!

Only on American TV of course but I know a man who knows a man who knows this website. . .
The season started off well still.
I can definitely see something going wrong with Vincent and him driving shortly!
